The economy of Tana Toraja Regency in 2023 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 9.37 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp 5.21 trillion.
The economy of Tana Toraja Regency during 2023 grew by 3.66 percent compared to 2022. In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in the Other Services industry at 10.3 percent. While from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure Component by 15.99 percent.
The largest share of the economy of Tana Toraja Regency in 2023 from the production side is still sourced from the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries industry at 22.14 percent. In terms of expenditure, the largest contributor comes from the Household Consumption component at 58.09 percent.
The highest source of economic growth in Tana Toraja Regency in 2023 from the production side is the wholesale and retail trade industry at 1.33 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the Household Consumption Component is the highest source of growth at 2.32 percent.
